Your POA Board is made up strictly of volunteers.
Most Directors also have full-time jobs. Those of us who are retired are very active with our own important daily tasks and families. Many property owners ask why we do not hire a professional management company to run the POA. Those companies charge from $10 - $20 per month per property. Using the average of $15 per property owner in Scenic Heights, it would cost around $3,375 per month, or $40,500 yearly. The monthly cost of $3,375 is almost half of the amount of funds the POA brings in yearly.
